The Birdcage prides itself on being one of Auckland’s most popular function venues, hosting parties, social and corporate events, product launches and business meetings for over 100 years! We cater for groups of any size with room for up to 150 guests inside and for up to 350 when the weather permits use of the outdoor courtyard in conjuntion with our interior spaces. We offer free venue hire, subject to a minimum spend. We have a menu to suit all budgets plus great in-house facilities such as HDMI projectors and white screens for image sharing or power point presentations, a DJ booth and a mobile bar.

Just wanted to thank you and your staff for making Mum’s night a memorable experience. You made Mum feel very special and we couldn’t have been happier with the night.
Great venue, food and service. Our friends and family really enjoyed themselves and commented about what a great place you have and ideal location. I suspect some were thinking great venue for upcoming events.

THE VENUE IS AMAZING
Phil, I just wanted to say thank you for Saturday night. Yourself and the staff made everything so easy for myself that night. The venue is amazing and the little touches that the team added after setting up with flowers on the table, candles and fairy lights were perfect!
All my guests loved the venue and couldn’t stop talking about the food!

I had a most excellent party at your establishment thank you so much. The decor is just beautiful and was commented on a lot. The staff were excellent too, they were very friendly and accommodating and even set the table in keeping with my theme (black) after they saw my black balloons and we had a chat earlier in the day. Mainly referring to the young man with the British accent he was great.
I would not hesitate to recommend The Birdcage as a venue to my friends and family.
